The surgeons and staff of Colorado Springs Surgical Associates are dedicated to providing the finest in surgical care for our patients. We strive to maintain the highest standards in the delivery of care, while at the same time ensuring that each patient is treated with compassion and attention to individual needs. As a result, our practice has built a statewide reputation since its establishment over 35 years ago. Our practice focuses on the treatment of conditions through minimally-invasive methods using state-of-the-art technology. This includes the use of lasers, laparoscopy, and catheter-based procedures. We are the largest multispecialty surgical group in southern Colorado that focuses on minimally-invasive techniques, with 9 board-certified surgeons.

Each physician in our practice has completed extensive training in surgery, with many also having obtained additional specialty fellowship training. All of our physicians are certified by the American Board of Surgery, and are active in the American College of Surgeons. We practice the full range of general, vascular, bariatric, and trauma surgery. Some of the specific services we provide include minimally-invasive vascular surgery, cancer surgery, hernia surgery, and laparoscopic gastrointestinal operations (including cholecystectomy, colectomy, splenectomy, and bariatric surgery). We have a nationally accredited Ultrasound Department & provide minimally invasive therapy for varicose veins & spider veins through our Vein & Laser Clinic. We are also the only Center Of Excellence for Bariatric/Obesity Surgery in Southern Colorado, providing the Lap-Band and Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass procedures for weight loss.

For the convenience of our patients, all of our surgeons perform procedures at multiple local facilities including: Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Medical Center, Memorial Hospital, Printers Park, & the north and central Audubon Surgery Centers.

Our philosophy is to provide the highest quality surgical care to our patients, whether in the elective or emergent setting. We accept Medicare and participate in most major insurance plans. We are happy to see patients who are referred by other physicians or those who are self-referred; we are also delighted to see those who are referred by other patients.
