William C. Chambers, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Chambers was born in Flint, Michigan and was raised in Mount Pleasant, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Science degree, Summa Cum Laude, from Texas A&M University and attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, where he received the Hudson Penn Award for surgical excellence. He served his general surgery residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Dallas where he was chief resident in 1986-87. He was a Vascular Fellow in 1987-88 at the Baylor Medical Center, Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Chambers is an active member of numerous surgical and vascular professional societies, regionally and nationally. He has served on many hospital committees and is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He has received the prestigious honor of being voted the "Top Doctor" in his field of Vascular Surgery as published in the Colorado Springs Business Journal. He has served as Chief of Surgery at Penrose-St. Francis Hospitals, voted one of the top 50 hospitals in the nation this year.

Dr. Chambers and his wife, Cathy, enjoy skiing, backpacking, hunting and fishing. They have a son, David.
